Terms of Use
These terms describe the expected use of SellSpace9ja's marketplace features. They are a product foundation and should receive legal review before production launch. Last updated 30 August 2026.
Using SellSpace9ja
Use SellSpace9ja lawfully and provide marketplace information you reasonably believe is accurate. Do not misuse marketplace features to deceive, harass, impersonate, scam, manipulate reports, or interfere with other users.
Listings and items
Sellers are responsible for their listings, descriptions, known-condition disclosures, photos or videos, and for having the ownership or authority needed to offer an item for sale. Buyers are responsible for deciding whether an item is suitable after inspection and any testing they choose to perform.
Payments, inspection, and pickup
SellSpace9ja is a marketplace discovery and negotiation service. It does not collect, escrow, insure, guarantee, or protect the marketplace item payment.
Sellers must not request prohibited viewing, inspection, reservation, unlocking, verification, delivery, or similar advance fees before inspection. Buyers should inspect and test an item before paying whenever practical and arrange pickup/payment directly with the seller.
Contact and negotiation rules
Users must follow the product's pre-acceptance contact restrictions and accepted-offer Safe Pickup rules. Do not place prohibited private contact or payment instructions into listing or negotiation text to bypass marketplace protections.
Moderation and account access
SellSpace9ja may review reports and marketplace activity, hide or restore listings, temporarily suspend or restore accounts, release protected reservations when required by the safety lifecycle, and permanently ban accounts after a final moderation decision under the published rules.
Eligible suspended users can request account review. A permanent ban is a final moderation state and does not create an unlimited appeal loop.
Content and rights
Do not upload content or media you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, or intentionally misleading. SellSpace9ja may restrict content that violates marketplace or safety rules.
Service availability and limitations
Marketplace availability, delivery of notifications, user responses, item availability, and transaction completion are not guaranteed. Users remain responsible for their own inspection, payment, pickup, and legal obligations.
